But a few years later, their paths crossed again as if nothing had changed, except for one thing: an idea had been born.One of them tried to order a custom rug through social media… but quickly ran into a disappointing reality : tufting artists who never replied, unclear prices, endless delays.So they decided to do it themselves. They bought their first machine, set up in a basement, and taught themselves the art of tufting from scratch.Their Instagram account was born. Orders started coming in. Word of mouth spread. Too many requests, not enough time… but one thing was certain: tufting needed to be more accessible.
